A story that deserved to continue

Every good product starts with a story. Pealock's began on a ski slope, when someone stole its founder's brand-new skis. The insurer paid nothing, because the skis had not been secured.

That frustration led to an idea: a smart lock to guard skis, bikes, scooters and strollers. A lock with an alarm that calls you when someone touches your things. Developed and made in the Czech Republic, winner of a Red Dot Award, trusted by investors and thousands of customers.

Hardware companies rarely have it easy, though. A smart lock is more than a piece of electronics. To work, it needs servers, SIM cards, a mobile app and a team that looks after all of it. When the company could no longer continue, thousands of paid-for locks were at risk of losing the services they depend on.

You bought a product. We are taking on the commitment to keep it working.

That is when we decided not to let that happen. At Codethica we work with asset protection technology and smart devices. We know what it takes to keep a service like this running, and how much it matters to the people who paid for it. So in July 2026 we took over Pealock's services.

We are taking over a service that has been through a hard time. We promise to do everything we can to keep the app and connectivity that Pealock runs on going.

Pealock's story began with stolen skis. We don't want it to end with lost trust. We are writing its next chapter, and we are glad you are part of it.
